Radnor, PA - The top-seeded Cabrini College Cavaliers (13-5) captured its 15th consecutive Colonial States Athletic Conference title with an 18-6 victory over second-seeded Marywood University (11-5) Saturday afternoon in the conference championship game. The Pacers become CSAC runners-up for the fourth time in program history (2009, 2011, 2014).

Eleven different players contributed at least one goal en route to the victory. With the win, the Cavaliers will represent the CSAC with the league's automatic berth to the NCAA tournament. Kyle Bush, the CSAC Championship Most Valuable Player, led the way with four goals and one assist, while Evan Downey netted three goals, and Ethan Heisman and Damian Sobieski tallied two goals apiece.

Cabrini will learn its NCAA tournament opponent and destination Sunday evening at 9 p.m. Marywood will learn its postseason fate Monday when ECAC bids are announced.

Dylan Swope, Sam Trill and Scott Slater each scored twice for the Pacers. Trill added an assist for three points, putting him in position with a two-point lead for the program's all-time points record over Swope. Slater's two goals put him three points shy of joining the 100 Point Club.

Cabrini outshot the Pacers 63-24 and won 19 face-offs compared to the Pacers' seven. Leading the nation in save percentage, Joe Magargal made 19 saves between the pipes for Marywood. His counterpart Tyler Morell stopped five shots on the day.

Ryan Nowell and Magargal each led defensively with five ground balls. Skyler Swope and Joe O'Connell both caused two turnovers. Brandon Terlizzi provided three assists.

No time was wasted by the Cabrini offense that scored eight goals in just the first period. The Cavaliers kicked off the game with the first four goals. Sobieski found the net on a man-up opportunity 2:55 into the contest. Continuously finding holes in the defense, Bush found the net from Patrick Nolan just 25 seconds later. Downey added an unassisted goal a minute later, and Bush netted his second at 8:09.

Dylan Swope ended the Pacers' drought at the 6:42 mark from Rob Maini. Scott Slater tacked on his 30th of the year at 2:09.
