Radnor, PA - Top-seed and host Cabrini College will play for their fourth straight Colonial States Athletic Conference women's lacrosse championship Saturday as the Cavaliers advanced to their 18th championship game with a convincing 18-6 win over #4 seed Marywood University Wednesday evening in Radnor. The Cavaliers improve to 13-5 and will take on #2 Neumann Saturday for the CSAC's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III tournament while Marywood ends their season at 8-9.

Cabrini's Lacie Doubet etched her name in the Cavalier's history book as the senior broke the career scoring record of 221 goals. Doubet posted nine points on six goals and three assists, closing the day with 224 career tallies. The nine points also mark the second highest scoring total of the senior's career.

Melissa Scanzano added six points on three goals and three assists for Cabrini to go with her three ground balls and two caused turnovers.

The Cabrini defense was in total control throughout as the club caused 18 turnovers on the day. Goaltender Megan Barlow earned her 13th victory with five saves and four ground balls.

The Blue and White took control of the game in the early minutes, as Scanzano found Doubet for the game's first goal at the 27:40 mark. Cabrini netted a trio of women-down goals, as five Cavaliers scored in the opening 10 minutes to put the club ahead 5-0.

The Pacers got on the board with 25:35 to play on a goal from Sam Bussinelli.

Bussinelli and senior Dana Grossjung scored two goals each for Marywood, while freshman Lauren Smith tallied 18 saves in the loss.

For the Pacers, senior tri-captains Stacy Griffing, Mary Ninivaggi and Grossjung played in their final game in Marywood uniforms.
