Frostburg, MD - Visiting and 7th-seeded Marywood University scored the first four goals of the game to down host and 2nd-seeded Frostburg State University in ECAC Men's Soccer South Region Tournament quarterfinal action Wednesday afternoon in Maryland.  Christian Lawlor had a pair of goals for the Pacers while Kris Kassel and Ryan Jones also added goals as the Pacers improved to 11-6-3 on the year. 

Lawlor opened the scoring for Marywood in the 17th minute of play when Jamie Mangini picked up a loose ball on a turnover and fed Lawlor for the game's first goal.  In the 35th minute the Pacers doubled their lead as Kassel scored unassisted when he dribbled past a defender and put a well played left footed shot into the left side netting.

Early in the second half, Lawlor put the game out of reach and gave Marywood a 3-0 lead when he took advantage of another turnover, this time inside the Frostburg 18 yard box, and scored his second goal of the day.  Just over a minute later Jones would make it 4-0 in favor of Marywood on a penalty kick.  FSU broke up the shutout bid by the Pacers in the 62nd minute when Shawn Baker scored off a feed from Ryan Russell on a long thru ball up the middle of the field.

Marywood held a 16-11 advantage in shots for the game. Shane Quinn got the win in goal after making four saves.  Abiye Jack (four saves) took the loss for the Bobcats, who close their season at 12-3-4.

Marywood will take on #3 seed Lebanon Valley College Saturday at 1:30pm at Penn State Behrend (Erie).  The Nittany Lions are the host of the four-team semifinal round.  The winning two teams from Saturday's semifinals will play in the Championship game at PSU-Behrend on Sunday at a time to be determined.  LVC was a 4-1 winner over #6 seed Neumann University.  PSU-Behrend will face the winner of #4 PSU-Abington and #5 Alvernia which will be played Thursday night.
